About Foto-Smith

Hi, my name is Steve Smith & I am the founder member of the Foto-Smith team.

Having had cameras since my twelve birthday, when I was presented with a Kodak 35mm film camera by my Father, it was a natural progression that turned a mild interest, to a hobby & then finally a passion.

So much so that in 2006 the passion became so strong, that I decided to become a professional photographer & took my first steps along my newly chosen career path.

Having shared the knowledge gained over the years with my son Daniel, I was very pleased when he decided to join me in my quest for the perfect image & Foto-Smith was born.

Since then as a team we have gone from strength to strength, expanding the Wedding & Portrait business & gaining more useable knowledge along the way. Not being the types to sit back on our laurels & possibly slightly mad, we are now in the process of moving into the Schools & Social Events photography market.
